Lee Valley Golf Club is a relatively new addition to the Irish golfing menu, having only opened in 1992.

It is located in Ovens, Co Clare, and is on the main Cork-Killarney road. Christy O’Connor Jnr designed the course, the popular Irish professional who played in the Ryder Cup, and is best described as an undulating parkland layout.

O'Connor has included water on a number of the holes and these features add to the attraction of the course. Visitors are welcome at Lee Valley but bookings have to be made by prior arrangement.

Caddies can also be provided on request, while the club has excellent practice and catering facilities.
