Designed by architect Jack Kenneally and recently constructed,
this challenging 18-hole course is also beautifully situated, this time
in the meadowlands of the Bandon River valley, just two miles north of
Kinsale.
The landscape has been utilised to its maximum and the planting of a large
number of hardwood trees will in time add to its playing strategy. It
is a stiff yet fair challenge to all standards of golfers measuring 6,609
yards long and consisting of two loops starting and finishing at the Clubhouse,
situated on the highest point of the course.
The Clubhouse has been tastefully designed, overlooking the ninth and
eighteenth greens and consists of extensive locker room facilities, bar
and restaurant with additional Pro Shop facilities for sales, lessons
and hire.
