Originally founded in 1918 as a 9-hole course Enniscrone has since grown in size and stature to a Championship 18-hole masterpiece.

The first changes came about under the design of Eddie Hackett who developed and increased the course to 18 holes whilst skilfully retaining its natural appeal. Even more recently it was the turn of Donald Steele to integrate a stiffer 9 holes that have now catapulted Enniscrone’s reputation. The course has played host to many of the countries championships and many more will follow.
