Although founded in 1972, Donegal Golf Club (or
Murvagh Golf Club as it is also known) has a distinctly older feel.
It is yet another of Eddie Hackett’s exemplary creations set alongside
Galway Bay and in the shadows of the magnificent Blue Stack Mountains.
The course stretches an almighty 7227 Yards making it one of the longest
in Ireland – drive badly and you could be out with the washing!
There are many excellent holes at Murvagh but special note is made of
the par 5 sixth which offers a stunning view of the beach.
