Founded in 1888, and redesigned in 1927 by Alister Mackenzie,
this championship parkland course is as graceful and mature as its age
would suggest. Scenically situated in Cork Harbour, the club has played
host to major amateur and professional tournaments over the years, including
the Carroll's Irish Open, the Irish Professional Championships, Irish
Close Championships and the National Finals.
With a par of 72, and measuring 6119 metres (6690 Yards) off the back
tees, Cork Golf Club is as good a golfing challenge as you'll find in
Ireland.
Special note is made of the welcoming reception in the recently refurbished
clubhouse that offers full bar and restaurant facilities.
