Many who make the pilgrimage to Ballybunion sadly make the mistake of foregoing the opportunity to play the superb Cashen course.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones in 1980 this relatively young course has quickly gained consideration and attention alike and deservedly commands its own out right respect.

As with ‘The Old Course’ it promotes a wild, some say bleak and formidable challenge yet it invokes its own unique character with an ancient magical Irish feel. Many say it has out muscled its older sister – but what ever the view there’s no easy candy to be taken from this baby!
