Described
as the Ballybunion of the North, Ballyliffin is the northernmost links
course in Ireland, situated close to Malin Head on Donegal’s Inishowen
Peninsular.
There are two 18-hole courses – the shorter than you would expect
Old Course of which Nick Faldo described ‘the most natural course
ever’ and the magnificent new Glashedy links which opened in 1995.
Pat Ruddy and Tom Craddock have designed one of the world’s finest
and most adventurous links courses in Glashedy – it is truly a vigorous
test and completes a stunning golfing experience for a visit to this beautiful
location.
